Happy Earth Day. Here's a HerStory of mentorship:
When Marion women first partnered with the Girl Scouts of the USA, they helped nurture a generation of girls learning leadership, service, and confidence. Over the decades, Girl Scouts have also become champions of caring for our planet by planting trees, protecting wildlife, and leading conservation efforts. This reminds us, especially on Earth Day, that stewardship of the earth begins with young leaders and a supportive community.
